I almost wish it was a lack of drawing skills that makes this dino look so weird. But no, I am confident I captured it accurately from other artists’ renditions.  ‬Isisaurus had an unusual appearance with a short, vertically directed neck and long forelimbs, making it considerably different from other sauropods and giving it an almost hyena-like stature.
‬Isisaurus was named after the Indian Statistical Institute and should not be confused with the goddess Isis from Ancient Egyptian mythology. It was a moderately size titanosaur that roamed India during the late Cretaceous period.‭ ‬Fungal analysis of coprolites(fossil poop) attributed to Isisaurus has revealed that it probably fed upon a variety of different trees, making it a ‬high browser.‭ ‬An adult would have been 60 feet in length and weighed about 15 tons.
