In Inuit mythology, Akhlut—a vicious, dangerous beast— is a spirit that takes the form of both a wolf and an orca–sometimes either, sometimes both. Its tracks are seen as wolf tracks that lead to and from the ocean. Little is known of this spirit, other than that it shapeshifts from  orca to wolf when hungry.
