I always thought that, since Phantomime is reminiscent of The Phantom of the Opera, it would be cool if his mask occasionally disappeared somehow and a horrific face was revealed underneath.

I think if this carousel were ever constructed, Gift would need to be included. A spin on “never look a gift horse in the mouth”, the interior of his maw is truly despicable. 😀

This one was drawn so quickly, I didn’t give myself the time to plan or detail it but at least I got the idea down. This horse has had a run-in with a motor vehicle and I think the vehicle lost.

Eyesore was one of those horses I created simply because I liked the name, and I went very literal, obviously, with this design. Still,I think a horse covered with eyes would be pretty darned creepy.

Ankle Biter was meant to be the smallest horse on The Carousel of Creeps–probably miniature horse-sized, but don’t be fooled; he has a mouthful of pointy little teeth and he isn’t afraid to use them!

I always thought his saddle design might incorporate a foot design (not shown).
