We saw Jaws on the big screen last night, and it was an awesome experience. Since it was a classic movie, everyone was cheering and clapping when certain stars came onscreen(mainly Robert Shaw). There was much whooping it up over the best lines. And it was great being able to scream and jump in all the right places!! (Ben Gardner’s dead head got the best scream!)

It was also fun seeing it with Cuz’n Ashley, who had never seen it before. What a thrill, introducing someone to this treasure of cinema!!

We saw it at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.

Drawn directly from another old engraving (non-colored),this half-fish, half unicorn creature seems to be crawling over the surface of the water with a strange set of armlike appendages in the front. I took great liberties in coloring it, thinking it would be neat if a unicorn of the sea would be not white, but a kelpy green.

Tiger Barbs make a real statement in a home aquarium, but many people get too few of them; when there are less than 7 or 8, Tiger Barbs harass other fish. Sadly, many fishkeepers think this is “cool” and again, call it a “survival of the fittest” situation. They also need to be kept with fish their own size or you get the same situation. But if you keep 7, 8 or more Tiger Barbs, they will focus more on each other, and then blossom into very playful and curious fish who always have their noses into everything but will generally leave other fish alone
